West Indies Women to host Australia in white-ball series: T20 World Cup prep begins

•Cricket West Indies (CWI) confirms a six-match white-ball series between West Indies Women and Australia Women in March and April.
•The series includes three T20Is in St Vincent (March 19, 21, 23) and three ODIs in St Kitts (March 27, 29, April 2).
•Initially, a Test match was planned, but the focus shifted to white-ball readiness for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
•Australia is the top-ranked team in both formats, while West Indies Women are 5th in T20Is and 9th in ODIs.
•CWI Director of Cricket, Miles Bascombe, emphasized the series as a crucial benchmark for T20 World Cup preparation.
