Volkswagen Begins Tayron R-Line Assembly in India; Launch Soon
- •Volkswagen India has commenced local assembly of the seven-seater Tayron R-Line SUV at its Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar plant in Maharashtra.
- •The Tayron R-Line is set for launch in India this quarter, following the Tiguan R-Line as the second R-Line model introduced recently.
- •Positioned as Volkswagen India's most premium SUV, it features distinctive R-Line styling, IQ.Light HD Matrix LED lights, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
- •The interior boasts leatherette seats, a 15-inch touchscreen, 30-colour ambient lighting, ventilated and massage seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
- •Powered by a 2.0-litre TSI EVO petrol engine (204PS/320Nm) with a 7-speed DSG and 4MOTION all-wheel-drive, it's expected to be priced around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
