Amazon Air Expands to Northeast, Launches Kolkata-Guwahati Cargo Route

Amazon expanded its dedicated Air cargo network to Northeast India, launching a new Kolkata–Guwahati route.
•
The expansion aims to significantly speed up deliveries (up to five times faster) across the seven Northeastern states.
•
Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu flagged off the inaugural flight from New Delhi, highlighting infrastructure growth.
•
The service will improve market access for local sellers, enabling them to reach customers nationwide more efficiently.
•
Amazon Air, launched in India in 2023, now connects major metros including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Guwahati, and Pune.
