•Gold and silver prices in India fell on February 26 due to profit-booking.
•On MCX, gold dropped 0.25% to Rs 1,60,714 per 10 grams, while silver slipped 0.84% to Rs 2,66,073 per kg.
•In Mumbai spot market, 24-carat gold was Rs 1,61,680 per 10 grams, and 22K gold was Rs 1,48,200 per 10 grams (excluding GST and making charges).
•Last month, gold touched an all-time high of over Rs 1,80,000, and silver hit a record Rs 4,20,000.
