Sensex Soars 939 Points Above 75,500; Banks, Metals Fuel Broad Rally

•Indian benchmark equity indices closed sharply higher, with Sensex surging 938.93 points (1.26%) to 75,502.85.
•Nifty 50 also advanced 257.7 points (1.11%) to settle at 23,408.80.
•Rally driven by strong gains in banking, metal, and consumption stocks; UltraTech Cement, HDFC Bank, SBI among top performers.
•IT stocks like Infosys, TCS, HCLTech, along with Bharti Airtel and Titan Company, ended lower.
•Indian rupee closed near record low at 92.42 per US dollar, with RBI likely intervening to prevent further losses.
