M.G. Road Bengaluru: 15-Day Asphalting Starts March 5, Traffic Diversions Expected

•Bengaluru's M.G. Road to undergo 15-day resurfacing from March 5, impacting commuters in the Central Business District.
•The 2.2-kilometre stretch from Trinity Circle to Cubbon Park Police Station Circle will be asphalted.
•Preparatory night-time milling begins March 4; initial 8-9 days will have minimal traffic disruption.
•Full traffic diversions will be implemented only when actual asphalting commences.
•Project is part of the Chief Minister’s Infrastructure Development Programme for Shantinagar constituency, with a Rs 25 crore budget.
