Fake ISRO Scientist Arrested for Cheating, Sexually Exploiting Women via Matrimonial Sites

Navi Mumbai Crime Branch arrested Adarsh Prashant Mhatre, 34, for impersonating an ISRO scientist and PWD official.
•
Mhatre allegedly used over a dozen aliases on matrimonial sites like Shaadi.com, Bharat Matrimony, and Jeevansathi.com.
•
He targeted highly educated women, including engineers and doctors, under the pretext of marriage.
•
Accused of cheating several women out of ₹89.40 lakh and sexually exploiting victims.
•
Investigations are ongoing to identify more victims and determine the full extent of the fraud.
