2028 T20 World Cup: Australia & NZ Host; India Defends Title, 8 Spots Up For Grabs

•The 2028 ICC T20 World Cup will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand from October 21 to November 19.
•This marks New Zealand's first time hosting men's T20 World Cup matches; Australia hosts for the second time since 2022.
•A total of 20 teams will participate, with 12 already qualified including hosts Australia, New Zealand, and defending champions India.
•Key venues include Melbourne Cricket Ground, Sydney Cricket Ground, Adelaide Oval, Optus Stadium, Eden Park, Sky Stadium, and Hagley Oval.
•The remaining 8 spots will be decided through regional qualification tournaments starting mid-2026.
