Deandra Dottin Makes History: First West Indian Out Obstructing Field

Deandra Dottin became the first West Indies cricketer to be dismissed for obstructing the field in international cricket on Sunday.
•
She was given out in the 2nd ODI against Sri Lanka, scoring 13 runs, and her team lost by 14 runs.
•
Dottin is the sixth woman cricketer overall to be dismissed for obstructing the field across all formats.
•
Leonard Hutton was the first male player globally to be dismissed for obstructing the field in a 1951 Test match.
•
Ramiz Raja and Jason Roy were the first to be dismissed for obstructing the field in ODIs and T20Is, respectively.
