Gavaskar Rejects 'Hypocrisy' Claims, Denies Paying Pakistani Commentators

Sunil Gavaskar denied hypocrisy after questioning Sunrisers Leeds for signing Pakistani spinner Abrar Ahmed.
•
He had slammed the Indian-owned franchise for indirectly funding 'deaths of Indian soldiers and civilians' via tax to the Pakistani government.
•
Gavaskar clarified that his commentary roles with ICC and ACC do not involve payments to Pakistani commentators, unlike an Indian entity.
•
He stated he doesn't follow other leagues like CPL, ILT20, or SA20, hence unaware of Indian owners paying Pakistani players there.
•
Gavaskar also clarified that his participation in a Pakistani show last year was unpaid.
