•Manish Pandey, the first Indian to score an IPL century in 2009 for Royal Challengers Bangalore, is now largely forgotten.
•He scored 114 runs off 73 balls against Deccan Chargers at just 19 years old, hitting 10 fours and 4 sixes.
•Pandey has played 174 IPL matches, scoring 3942 runs with 1 century and 22 half-centuries, representing seven teams.
•He debuted for Team India in 2015 and was known for his exceptional fitness, reportedly outscoring Virat Kohli in the Yo-Yo test.
•Despite opportunities, Pandey struggled with consistency for India, playing 29 ODIs (566 runs, 1 century) and 39 T20Is (709 runs).
