WBSSC to Conduct Non-Teaching Staff Exams on March 1 and 8

  • The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) will hold written exams for non-teaching staff on March 1 (Group-C) and March 8 (Group-D).
  • This move follows approval from the state secretariat ‘Nabanna’ and comes ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections.
  • There are 2,989 vacancies for Group-C and 5,488 for Group-D, with approximately 16 lakh candidates applying.
  • Exams will be conducted across more than 1,500 centres statewide; Group-C test is 60 marks, Group-D is 40 marks.
