Dhanush Out, Vijay Sethupathi & Sai Pallavi In for Mani Ratnam's Next Film

•Mani Ratnam's next film will star Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi in lead roles, with music by A.R. Rahman.
•The project, produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies, is a romantic entertainer.
•Dhanush was initially offered the script but salary disagreements led to him not taking the role; Silambarasan TR was also considered.
•This marks the second collaboration between Mani Ratnam and Vijay Sethupathi after "Chekka Chivantha Vaanam."
•Filming is expected to begin in March 2026 after Vijay Sethupathi completes "Pocket Novel," with a late 2026 release target.
