•The resumption, effective February 20, covers all visa categories at missions in New Delhi, Agartala, and Siliguri.
•The decision comes three days after Tarique Rahman was sworn in as Bangladesh's prime minister, signaling a major foreign policy step.
•Visa operations were partially suspended since December 2025 during the interim administration, straining bilateral ties.
