Rajasthan: No Govt Jobs via Unemployment Offices in 5 Years; 22 Lakh Registered
•
Over 22 lakh unemployed youth are registered with employment offices across Rajasthan, as per an RTI revelation.
•
No government sector recruitments were made through these employment offices in the past five years.
•
As of January 14, 22,21,317 candidates were registered, with Jaipur having the highest number (2.51 lakh).
•
Limited private sector placements occurred: 86 in 2021, 825 in 2022, 3 in 2023, 23 in 2024, and 71 in 2025.
•
RTI applicant Chandra Shekhar Gaur highlighted the need to activate unemployment offices and refer candidates.
