Shah launches ₹2,092 crore health projects in Assam; inaugurates medical college, cancer centers
- •Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated and laid foundation stones for health projects worth ₹2,092 crore in Assam.
- •He inaugurated the ₹675-crore Pragjyotishpur Medical College and Hospital in Guwahati.
- •Two cancer centers at Golaghat and Tinsukia, each costing ₹135 crore under Assam Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF), were also virtually inaugurated.
- •Foundation stones were laid for super-specialty hospitals at Diphu Medical College and Hospital, Jorhat Medical College and Hospital, and Barpeta Medical College and Hospital.
- •Shah also laid the foundation for a ₹218-crore Swasthya Bhawan in Guwahati and the Abhayapuri District Hospital.
