Teen Friends Flee Home to Mumbai Amidst Marriage Talks, Sparking Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Stir

Two minor friends, Alia and Mayuri, fled their homes in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to Mumbai.
•
The girls, close friends since eighth grade despite different religions, were disturbed by marriage discussions at Mayuri's home.
•
They left on March 17, telling families they were going to college, and traveled to Mumbai by train, intending to work and build new lives.
•
After reaching Mumbai, they became scared and contacted their families from an unknown person's phone.
•
Police and families retrieved the girls, returning them to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on March 19 after legal and medical procedures.
