•Jay Narendra Patil, 21, from Jalgaon, drowned in the Chennai sea after being swept away by a large wave.
•He was interning at Cognizant, an IT company in Chennai, and was on a holiday trip with 26 others.
•The incident occurred on Saturday, February 14, when a 10-15 foot wave swept away three individuals, including Jay.
•His body was recovered on Monday, three days after the incident, bringing immense grief to the Patil family.
•Another victim, Mayuri Chaudhary from Bhandara, also died, while Raj Kedari was rescued.
