Maharashtra Budget: Nagpur Sees Major Fund Boost, Pune Gets Highest Total Allocation

•Maharashtra's District Annual Plan receives a substantial 21,867 crore provision in the upcoming budget.
•Only three districts—Pune, Nagpur, and Mumbai Suburban—have been allocated over 1,000 crore.
•Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis's Nagpur district secured 1021.90 crore, marking a significant 137 crore increase from last year.
•Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's Pune district received the highest total of 1300 crore, but its increase was only 66 crore.
•Over three years (2024-25 to 2026-27), Nagpur's funding increased by 338 crore, surpassing Pune's 231 crore rise.
