Nashik Kumbh Mela 2027: CM Fadnavis Unveils Grand Plans, New Ghats & Facilities

•CM Devendra Fadnavis approved extensive works for the 2027 Simhastha Kumbh Mela in Nashik and Trimbakeshwar.
•A new 2-kilometer ghat will be built in Trimbakeshwar for Amrit Snan, a first for Nashik Kumbh, with Akharas' consent.
•The new ghat, 1 km from Kushavarta, will feature three new ponds and pure Godavari river water for royal baths.
•Sadhugram area will be four times larger, with 377 acres of land acquisition nearing completion.
•Expected 1.5 crore devotees in Nashik and 75 lakh in Trimbakeshwar; private vehicles to park 3 km away, bus service available.
