Ratnagiri Bus Horror: Shimga Festival Bus Overturns, 25 Injured in Early Morning Crash

A private luxury bus traveling from Mumbai to Konkan for the Shimga festival met with a horrific accident in Ratnagiri.
•
The bus overturned into a roadside ditch at Envare on the Khed-Dhamnand road early Friday morning after the driver lost control.
•
Out of 28 passengers, 25 sustained injuries, with two seriously hurt; most passengers were asleep during the crash.
•
Local villagers from Envare promptly carried out rescue operations, safely extricating all passengers from the bus.
•
The injured are receiving treatment at Kalambani Upazila Hospital in Khed; the incident has dampened the Shimga festival joy.
