Satara School Shock: 24 Children Sexually Harassed, Accused Gets Bail

•An incident of sexual and mental harassment involving 24 children at a nationally renowned school in Satara has come to light.
•Initially reported as attempted assault on three children, the investigation by SP Tushar Doshi revealed 24 victims.
•The accused, school caretaker Rishikesh Subhash Chavan, was arrested for 'bad-touching', beating, and demanding money.
•Despite the arrest, the court granted bail to Rishikesh Subhash Chavan, citing the accusation as sexual harassment, not sexual assault.
•A case was registered on the 7th under POCSO and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 115/2, 351/2, with further police investigation underway.
