•Gravita India will acquire a 98.95% stake in Rashtriya Metal Industries (RMIL) for ₹559.08 crore.
•RMIL is a well-established manufacturer of copper and copper alloy products, with significant exports to UAE, US, Thailand, and other key international markets.
•The acquisition expands Gravita's recycling operations into copper and copper alloys, complementing its existing lead, plastic, rubber, and aluminum recycling businesses.
•This move strengthens Gravita's market position, improves its margin profile, and aligns with India's 'Make in India' initiative by accessing high-entry-barrier segments.
•The transaction is expected to be completed by March 31, 2026, with Singhi Advisors and Crawford Bayley & Co. acting as advisors.
