Rihanna Attempted Murder Suspect Ivanna Ortiz Faces New Charges in Court

•Ivanna Ortiz, 35, appeared in court for the first time on Monday, facing new charges in the attempted murder case of singer Rihanna.
•Ortiz was arrested Sunday after allegedly firing a semiautomatic gun at Rihanna’s Los Angeles home, hitting the outside gate.
•She faces 14 charges, including attempted murder, 10 counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and 3 counts of shooting at an occupied home.
•Held on $1.8 million bail, Ortiz is scheduled for arraignment on March 25 and could face life in prison if convicted.
•Los Angeles County DA Nathan J. Hochman vowed full prosecution, stating such reckless violence will not be tolerated.
