•Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh received a WhatsApp voice note demanding Rs 10 crore, allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
•The threat, sent to his manager from an international number, is suspected to feature the voice of gangster Harry Boxer, a Bishnoi aide.
•Similar threats were also received by filmmaker Rohit Shetty, whose residence faced a firing incident linked to the gang.
•Police are investigating the voice note's authenticity, including potential AI generation, and noted the sender used VPN to conceal identity.
•The Mumbai Crime Branch invoked MCOCA in connection with the threats and firing incidents, suspecting an organized crime syndicate.
