Kharghar-Turbhe Link Road by 2028: Navi Mumbai's Traffic Solution Nears Completion

The Kharghar-Turbhe Tunnel Link Road project aims to significantly reduce traffic congestion in Navi Mumbai.

This 5.940 km four-lane road will connect the Sion-Panvel Expressway (near Juinagar railway station) to Central Park in Kharghar.
•
The route includes a 1.763 km tunnel, with the remaining sections comprising flyovers and straight roads.
•
It will greatly benefit residents and commuters in Turbhe, Juinagar, Sanpada, Kharghar, and surrounding districts like Raigad and Panvel.
•
CIDCO and the government are targeting the completion of this crucial infrastructure project by 2028.
