•Jawar Udhan Irrigation Scheme, built for 500 crore rupees in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, has allegedly destroyed chickpea crops.
•Farmers in Rohini village claim a damaged pipeline continuously released water for 18-20 days, leading to severe waterlogging.
•Ripe chickpea crops across approximately 1.5 acres for farmers like Haresingh, Shivpal, and Radheshyam Chauhan were completely ruined.
•Despite repeated complaints and officials visiting the site, the water supply was not stopped, nor was the pipeline repaired.
•Farmers are demanding compensation and warn of a protest outside the Collector's office if no solution is provided.
