•A 21-year-old final-year B.Tech Data Science student, Bhuvana, died by suicide in her hostel room at Saiteja Private Hostel in Tirumala town.
•The incident occurred at Mohan Babu University (MBU), shocking students and faculty.
•Parents and relatives expressed suspicion over the delayed notification of her death and staged a protest.
•Police are investigating the cause, considering personal problems or academic stress, and have registered a case.
•Bhuvana's father, Surender Reddy, and mother, Janaki, are from a farming family in Mangalam Panchayat, Pukunuru Mandal.
