CM Chandrababu's 'Population Care': Rs 25K incentive, IVF for more children in AP

•CM Chandrababu Naidu announced a 'Population Care' policy to address Andhra Pradesh's declining Total Fertility Rate (TFR), currently at 1.5.
•Government to offer Rs. 25,000 financial assistance at birth and Rs. 1,000 monthly support to parents.
•Subsidized IVF services will be provided in government hospitals under a PPP model, along with a Motherhood Center of Excellence.
•Warned that if the TFR decline continues, 23% of AP's population could be elderly by 2047, impacting economic growth.
•A 'Life Cycle' policy based on five pillars (Motherhood, Energy, Well-being, Skill, Sanjeevani) will assist citizens from pregnancy to old age.
