15-Year-Old Girl Vanishes from Home, Imam Suspected in Gopalganj Abduction

A 15-year-old girl disappeared from her home in Gopalganj, Bihar, at midnight, with the main gate found open in the morning.

The family alleges the mosque's Imam, Azad Faizan, abducted their daughter, citing a prior dispute and his suspicious presence near their home.

The Imam, who has been absconding since the incident, is accused of luring the minor with promises of marriage and having ill intentions.

Police have registered an FIR, formed a team, and are using CDR analysis and coordinating with Purnia police to locate the girl and arrest the Imam.

The distraught family fears their daughter was abducted with the intention of being sold.
