•Bharti Airtel announced a massive 20,000 crore rupee investment in its NBFC unit, Airtel Money Limited, over the next few years.
•This strategic move follows the company receiving an NBFC license from the Reserve Bank of India, enabling significant expansion in digital lending.
•Airtel will contribute 70% of the capital, with the remaining 30% from promoter group Bharti Enterprises Limited.
•The company's LSP platform has already disbursed over 9,000 crore rupees in loans, supported by a team of 500+ data scientists.
