Indian Airlines Resume Middle East Flights: Air India, IndiGo Take Off
•
IndiGo, Air India, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air have resumed flights to Middle East destinations including Dubai, Jeddah, and Fujairah.
•
Over 25,000 flights were cancelled between February 28 and March 5; services are gradually being restored.
•
IndiGo will operate 17 flights to 8 Middle Eastern destinations, including Athens, Muscat, Jeddah, and Medina.
•
Air India has resumed flights to Jeddah and Muscat, and will operate special repatriation flights from Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
•
DGCA and the Ministry of Civil Aviation are coordinating efforts, monitoring airfares, and assisting stranded passengers.
