India's Tech Job Openings Jump 9% in March Amid AI Uncertainty
•
Tech job openings in India rose 9% month-on-month in March, reaching a 9-month high, despite AI-driven hiring uncertainty.
•
Active tech job listings climbed to around 119,000, marking the second consecutive monthly increase.
•
Overall hiring demand remains subdued, 19% lower than last year, reflecting a broader slowdown since late 2022.

•
Non-tech roles (consulting, sales) now drive demand, with non-technology industries accounting for 53% of tech talent demand.
