Sensex Plunges 590 Pts, Nifty Dips Below 25,900; Airtel, Infosys Lead Losses

Indian stock markets closed lower with Sensex down 590 points and Nifty below 25,900.
•
Bharti Airtel, PowerGrid, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys were among the top losers.
•
Nifty Private Bank was the biggest sectoral loser, declining 0.7 percent.
•
Nifty Pharma, Nifty IT, and Nifty Bank each fell by 0.6 percent.
•
Nifty Metal, PSU Bank, Auto, and FMCG indices also saw declines of 0.5 percent each.
