Smallcap World Fund Boosts Shaily Engineering Stake by 2% for Rs 177 Cr

•Smallcap World Fund Inc, owned by US-based Capital Group, acquired an additional 2.04% stake in Shaily Engineering Plastics for Rs 176.88 crore.
•The purchase involved 2.98 lakh shares at Rs 1,878.41 and 6.43 lakh shares at Rs 1,879 through open market transactions on March 12.
•The mutual fund already held a 5.09% equity stake in ace investor Ashish Kacholia-backed Shaily Engineering as of December 2025.
•BofA Securities Europe SA bought 0.17% in Kaynes Technology India for Rs 41.95 crore, with Kadensa Master Fund and Bluepearl Map I LP as sellers.
•Promoter stake sales led to drops in SEPC and Filatex Fashions shares; Skipper and IndiaGrid Infrastructure Trust also saw significant transactions.
