IAS Ravi Sihag Transfers to Wife Ishita Rathi's Cadre on Marriage Grounds

•IAS Ravi Sihag transferred from Madhya Pradesh to AGMUT cadre to join his wife, IAS Ishita Rathi.
•The transfer was approved on marriage grounds, allowing the administrative couple to work together in the same cadre.
•Ravi Sihag secured AIR 18 in UPSC 2021, while Ishita Rathi achieved AIR 8 in UPSC 2022; both are highly-ranked officers.
•Inter-cadre transfers for civil service officers are permitted under special circumstances like marriage, as per All India Service Rule 5(2).
•The transfer process requires a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from concerned state governments and final approval from DoPT.
