•Arvind Kejriwal, born in 1968, excelled academically, cracking IIT-JEE and graduating from IIT Kharagpur in Mechanical Engineering.
•He joined Tata Steel, then pursued civil services, clearing UPSC in 1995 to become an IRS officer, rising to Joint Commissioner.
•Kejriwal resigned from IRS in 2006, transitioning to social activism, co-founding 'Parivartan' and 'Kabir' NGOs, focusing on RTI and governance.
•He co-founded India Against Corruption with Anna Hazare, leading to the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in 2012.
•Became Delhi's CM, faced arrest in the Delhi liquor policy case, spent 177 days in jail, and was recently acquitted by Rouse Avenue Court.
