Vivek Express: India's Longest Train Journey Spanning 4189 Km Across 9 States

Vivek Express is India's longest-distance passenger train, covering approximately 4,189 kilometers.
•
The train runs from Dibrugarh, Assam, to Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, taking about 74 hours and 10 minutes (3-4 days).
•
It was launched in 2011-12 on Swami Vivekananda's 150th birth anniversary.
•
The Vivek Express passes through 9 states: Assam, Nagaland, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.
•
It operates twice a week with 20 coaches, including AC, sleeper, and general classes, plus a pantry car.
