•44 villagers in Gariaband, Chhattisgarh, fell ill with food poisoning after attending a wedding chauthiya ceremony.
•The incident occurred in Gram Panchayat Amdi Mohlai and Darripara Boirgaon.
•Patients are currently receiving treatment at the Kosmi Sub-Health Center.
•A health department team has been dispatched to investigate the cause of the illness.
•A similar incident last week in Narsinghpur saw people fall ill after eating sweets from a suhagle ceremony.
