•A woman celebrating Ramadan at her maternal home in Mukherjee Nagar lost her 21-month-old son, Hadi.
•The child's aunt, Azra (30), allegedly took him to a park on the pretext of a walk and strangled him.
•A passerby intervened, rescuing the child, but Hadi was declared dead at Newlife Hospital.
•Police are investigating the motive, including potential mental stress or family rivalry, as Azra was found unconscious at the scene.
•The incident occurred while Hadi's mother, Uzma, was visiting her maternal home for Ramadan.
