•The protests led to severe traffic jams across the capital, causing vehicles to crawl and commuters to be stuck for hours.
•Many people missed their trains due to the traffic, while others walked to reach railway stations, some with police assistance.
•Railways, however, stated they received no complaints about missed trains and confirmed trains were running on time.
•An anonymous passenger recounted police assistance in reaching New Delhi Railway Station despite being stuck in the jam.
