Asmita Athletics League on Women's Day: 2.5 Lakh Women to Run in 250 Districts
•'Asmita Athletics League' to be held on International Women's Day, March 8, across 250 districts nationwide.
•Organized by Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, 'Khelo India', 'My Bharat', and Sports Authority of India to empower women in sports.
•Aims to connect girls from villages and towns with sports, identify new talent, and encourage participation in three age categories: Under-13, 13-18, and 18+.
•Races will include 100m, 200m, and 400m; participants can register on mybharat.gov.in.
