Delhi Police Unveils 'Superb' Plan for Non-Stop Airport Access, Promises Delight
•Delhi Traffic Police devises a special plan to reduce congestion in Lutyens' Delhi and ease travel to Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI).
•Proposal sent to NDMC offers two options: a flyover/tunnel from Talkatora Stadium and another from Dayal Chowk, both connecting to Dhaula Kuan flyover.
•First plan involves grade separation near Talkatora Stadium, connecting to NH 48 and Ring Road, to prevent traffic stops at busy intersections.
•Second plan starts from Dayal Chowk, providing relief to traffic from Karol Bagh, and connects to Sardar Patel Marg, Dhaula Kuan flyover, and NH-48 interchange.
•The proposals aim to facilitate access to Dhaula Kuan flyover, reduce Central Delhi congestion, and significantly cut travel time to IGIA.
