UP CM Yogi Adityanath Experiences Japan's SCMAGLEV Train, Praises Innovation

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath rode Japan's advanced SCMAGLEV train in Yamanashi, reaching speeds of 501 km/h.

The SCMAGLEV uses magnetic levitation, floating 10cm above the track, enabling smooth, high-speed travel without friction.

Adityanath described the ride as 'smooth' and 'remarkably stable', highlighting Japan's commitment to innovation and infrastructure.
•
During his Japan visit, Adityanath met Yamanashi Governor Kotaro Nagasaki to strengthen UP-Yamanashi cooperation.
•
An MoU was signed for collaboration in industry, tourism, vocational education, green hydrogen, and clean energy, with UP inviting Japanese CEOs.
