Partha Chatterjee, Manik Bhattacharya Denied Assembly Tickets Amidst Scam Allegations

Five-time MLA Partha Chatterjee, embroiled in SSC corruption, denied assembly ticket by TMC.
•
Chatterjee was arrested in July 2022 for his alleged role in the teacher recruitment scam and spent over three years in jail.
•
He was removed from the cabinet, suspended from TMC for six years, and is still labeled as the 'kingpin' of the scam.
•
Manik Bhattacharya, former Primary Education Board president and TMC MLA, also dropped due to his involvement in the recruitment scam.
•
Bhattacharya was arrested in October 2022 and spent nearly two years in jail before being granted bail.
