•Malda Agriculture Department offers crucial advice to protect mango blossoms from intense heat and ensure a bumper yield.
•Dushyant Kumar Raghav, head of Malda Krishi Vigyan Kendra, emphasizes proper care during the blossom period for increased yield.
•Avoid excessive watering; instead, spray a small amount of water to maintain humidity and reduce blossom drop.
•For pest control after flowering or when mangoes are pea-sized, apply 1 gram Boron-20 per liter of water.
•Alternatively, use 5 grams of NPK 19:19:19 fertilizer or 5 grams of 'Fasal Prabhat' medicine per liter of water for pest management.
