Congress Leader Mahendra Singh Chauhan Accused of Assault, Dowry Harassment

Congress leader Mahendra Singh Chauhan's second wife filed a case of dowry harassment and assault against him at Habibganj police station in Bhopal.

The victim, a private bank manager, alleges Chauhan demanded two crore rupees and a car, and assaulted her when demands were not met.

She released a video claiming Chauhan has harassed her for 19 years, threatened her with a licensed revolver, and forged signatures.

The victim stated her father was the IG of Bhopal and appealed for help, seeking to meet Mohan Yadav and Vishwas Sarang.

Mahendra Singh Chauhan dismissed the allegations as baseless, while police confirmed an FIR is registered and investigation is ongoing.
