Indore-Balwada in 40 Mins! New Tunnels Cut Hyderabad Travel by 4 Hours, 125km

The 33-kilometer Tejaji Nagar to Balwada stretch on the Indore-Ichhapur Highway is nearing completion.
•
Three modern tunnels (Bherughat, Bygram, Choural Ghat) are complete, bypassing dangerous winding roads like Simrol and Bherughat.
•
Travel time from Indore to Balwada will reduce from 1.5-2 hours to just 40 minutes, significantly improving safety.
•
The new route will cut Indore to Hyderabad journey time by 4 hours (from 22 to 18 hours) and distance by 125 km.
•
This 1000 crore project enhances connectivity to Khandwa, Hyderabad, and eventually Mumbai via Goregaon and Shahpur.
