•Khandwa's 125-year-old Kal Bhairav Temple on Indore Road is a major center of faith, believed to house a self-manifested deity.
•A unique belief states that if the Kal Bhairav idol rotates five times to the right during prayer, the devotee's wish will be granted.
•The temple's history is linked to King Khardushan, with Banjara traders originally installing the idol in what was once a dense forest.
•The fourth generation of the same family, currently Magu Puri Goswami (Magu Maharaj), has been serving the temple.
•The temple also houses idols of Nagdevta, Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Nahar Singh Baba, and Dhar Singh Baba, attracting large crowds on Bhairav Ashtami.
