•Namibian cheetah Jwala gave birth to 5 cubs on March 9, 2026, at Kuno National Park.
•This brings India's total cheetah population to 53, with 33 being Indian-born cubs.
•Chief Minister Mohan Yadav hailed it as a historic achievement for Project Cheetah.
•Jwala, originally Siyaya, was among the 8 Namibian cheetahs released by PM Modi in Sept 2022; this is her third litter.
•The successful natural mating proves cheetahs' adaptation to Kuno, with all cubs healthy under continuous monitoring.
